Mayor Rob Fords Kicks-Off 'Clean Toronto Together' Campaign in Corso Italia!

Mayor Rob Ford picked-up a high-pressure water gun today to show how serious he is about erasing graffiti from Toronto neighbourhoods.  The Mayor, along with Davenport City Councillor, Cesar Palacio (also pictured above) kicked-off the 'Clean Toronto Together' campaign in Corso Italia; specifically at the corner of St. Clair Avenue West and Earlscourt Avenue.  Asked by reporters if he is fashioning his approach to graffiti after former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, Mayor Ford said: "That's a great question.  That's exactly what we're doing: the 'broken-window' theory.  We're taking every little part of the City that is broken and we're fixing it, brick-by-brick; piece-by-piece.  And this is an example of a little piece of graffiti...so we're going to clean it up and we're going to start today.  I'm leading by example and I'm glad people are here to see that.
